Your clients

The Clients page lists the clients the current access model permits you to see. Select a row to open profile and clinical details, or choose Register New Client to create a staff-assisted account.

All clients and My panel

Practitioners can switch between:

  • All clients — every client visible under the workspace's chart-access model; and
  • My panel — clients for whom you are the primary practitioner.

In a clinic with open charts, practitioners can see clinic client charts. In the independent portal and clinics with Strict chart access, chart access requires an active care-team assignment as primary or secondary practitioner, or unexpired emergency break-glass access. Appointments, messages, prescriptions, tests, and uploaded documents do not independently grant strict access. Public bookings and staff-created appointments enroll the assigned practitioner as primary when the client has no primary, or secondary otherwise. Starting a new client/practitioner conversation enrolls the practitioner as secondary. The resulting care-team membership is the access source. See Security & privacy.

Clients manage their own care teams. When a client removes you, your strict care-team access ends; the client can also choose to cancel upcoming appointments during removal.

Emergency access

For a genuine emergency under strict access, choose Break the glass, find the client, and enter a reason. Access lasts for the configured period (24 hours by default). The reason, practitioner, and timing are recorded for administrator review. Emergency access is not a substitute for a normal care-team assignment.

Clinical work

Use Documents for the unified document workflow, including uploads, generated forms, pending client items, and clinical notes. The older separate prescription and medical-test tabs have been retired. See Documents and forms.

Documents are always care-team scoped, including in open-chart clinics. You need primary or secondary membership, or active break-glass access, before you can list, open, download, or upload a client's documents.

When Messaging is enabled, Messages supports workspace-scoped conversations with clients available to your practice. Starting the conversation can add you to the client's care team as described above; later messages do not independently change access.
