Getting started as a client
Virtual Clinic is free for clients. With one identity you can find public clinics and practitioners, book appointments, message your care team, and work with the documents and forms your provider shares with you.
Creating your account
To create an account from the main registration page:
- Go to
virtualclinic.onlineand select Register. - Enter your name, email address, and password.
- Open the verification email and follow its link.
- Return to Virtual Clinic and sign in.
Normal registration requires email verification before your first login. If the email does not arrive, use Resend verification email on the registration confirmation screen and check your spam folder.
Registration inside a provider's booking flow is slightly different. It gives you a limited 48-hour verification window so you can sign in and finish that booking session immediately. Verify the address as soon as possible; after the window expires, further sign-ins are blocked until verification is complete.
A clinic may also create your account for you. Staff-created accounts are treated as verified because an authorized staff member created them. Follow the sign-in instructions supplied by that clinic.
One identity, separate provider records
Your email identifies you across the platform, but every clinic or independent practice keeps its own account record and clinical workspace. Records created at one provider are not automatically visible at another. When you start care with a new provider, Virtual Clinic creates or connects the client record in that provider's workspace.
Signing in
You can sign in from:
- a clinic's portal, such as
yourclinic.virtualclinic.online; - the independent-practice portal at
my.virtualclinic.online; or - the platform home page, which asks you to choose a workspace when your identity belongs to more than one.
Your session belongs to one workspace at a time. Switching providers takes you through a secure handoff so a session from one clinic is not reused at another.
What you will see
Available navigation depends on the provider's enabled features. Common areas include:
- Appointments — book and manage visits, including eligible online calls.
- Messages — conversations with available staff and care-team members.
- Documents — files, assigned forms, consent requests, and reviewed clinical material visible to you.
- Profile — personal details and, where available, your practitioner care team.
You can also install Virtual Clinic on a supported device. Next, learn how to find care, manage your care team, or book an appointment.
