Features

Virtual Clinic is a modular platform. Each clinic workspace has a specific set of features enabled or disabled by the platform team. This lets clinics operate with only the tools they need.

How features work

When a feature is disabled for your clinic, the corresponding sidebar links are hidden for all users in your workspace. If someone navigates directly to a disabled feature's URL, they see a not-found page. Enabling or disabling a feature affects the entire clinic workspace — there is no per-user feature toggle.

Features are managed by the platform team. You cannot enable or disable them yourself from within your clinic's portal.

Most features are turned on or off by the platform team. The exception is Strict chart access, which a clinic admin can toggle themselves from Clinic settings — it's a clinic policy rather than a capability.

Requesting changes

To enable or disable features for your clinic, contact the platform team. Let them know which features you want to add or remove and they will update your workspace configuration.
