Practitioners & staff
Virtual Clinic uses three workspace roles:
- Client — accesses their own appointments, messages, documents, profile, and care team.
- Practitioner — manages appointments and performs clinical work within the workspace's chart-access policy.
- Admin — manages the clinic, users, policies, and enabled administrative tools.
There are no Personnel, Lab, or Chemist roles in the current interface. A person can use the same email in several workspaces, but their account, role, and records remain separate in each.
Add an account
- Open Manage Users at
/admin/users. - Choose Register New User.
- Enter the name, email, and password, then select Client, Practitioner, or Admin.
- When creating a practitioner, select the required speciality.
- Submit the form and share the initial credentials through an appropriate secure channel.
Accounts created by clinic staff are email-verified at creation. The user can change the password from their profile after signing in.
Practitioner discovery
Clinic administrators control the clinic-wide Find care directory switch in Clinic Settings. Each practitioner separately controls Your Find care listing from Profile and can maintain a photo, cover, biography, public handle, languages, experience, location, and links. A practitioner appears in the clinic's Find Care section only when the clinic directory and the practitioner's listing are both enabled.
Archive and restore
Open an account from Manage Users to archive it. Archived users cannot sign in, but their associated records remain. Restore the account from the same management workflow when access should resume. Archiving is not permanent record deletion.
