Documents & records
Virtual Clinic gives you a single place to view the clinical documents your provider has shared with you. The page is called Clinical Documents, and it covers prescriptions and medical test results.
Your documents
After signing in to your provider's portal, go to Documents in the navigation. The page is titled "Clinical Documents" with the description "Prescriptions and medical test results."
Two tabs organize your documents:
- Prescriptions — prescriptions written for you by your doctor.
- Medical Tests — results from laboratory and diagnostic tests ordered by your care team.
Which tabs appear depends on what your provider has enabled. If your clinic has not enabled the Prescriptions feature, that tab will not be shown. If neither feature is enabled, the Documents page is not accessible.
Prescriptions
The Prescriptions tab lists the prescriptions your doctor has written for you. Each prescription shows what was prescribed. Prescriptions are read-only for patients — you can view and refer to them, but changes are made by your doctor. If you need a clarification, a correction, or a repeat prescription, contact your doctor directly through Messages (if available) or by calling the clinic.
Similarly, the Medical Tests tab shows test results that your care team has recorded for you. You can review the results and, if the clinic has uploaded supporting files, view any attachments on the test record.
Who can see your records
Only the staff of the clinic or the doctor who created the record can see it. A prescription written at one clinic is not visible to any other clinic or independent doctor on the platform — even if you use the same email address at both providers.
This isolation is structural: each provider's data lives in its own separate workspace, so there is no way for records to leak across providers regardless of user permissions. Your records belong to the provider context in which they were created.
